Mike Evans | PentecostalTheology.comThe Word of God provides great evidence that God’s main objective for His own is full growth into the likeness of Christ. It seems much of the Church has forgotten this. We see in Colossians 1:27-28 that Paul preached Christ, warned and taught every man in all wisdom towards the aim of producing mature/perfect Christians. What is this maturity? Hebrews 5:14 tells us that those who are of full age have, “by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Holiness and purity are the marks of those who are mature. It seems that today many seek to fill buildings with people without warning them to move on to maturity. The result seems to be that many attempt to walk with inadequate resources to face the difficulties of life. It is no wonder the world rejects a powerless Church that is not distinguished from them by power or purity.
Let us move on to become perfect in Christ Jesus all the while preaching, warning, and teaching others to do the same.

What magnificent about God He knows what He’s doing,no one starts to build a house without first counting the cost,on this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail,I will present to myself a church without spot blemish or wrinkle.we must grow and teach and mature and I see Jesus doing just that even in ways that are beyond my pay grade ?
