Dan Irving | PentecostalTheology.comThe more I research this film and its correlation with NAR theology, the more I realize I needed a scarier clown; in fact three scary clowns.

Can you please give me a simple denunciation. For a cut and paste. Will it affect the salvation message in our culture? If that’s cheating sorry but it’s important as some of friends have been already..
Dan Irving
Street Preacherz This book/film has been the subject of debate on this forum. I wish I had been more equipped to respond at the time to (what I’m learning now) were mis-assertions by some of its proponents. I’m in the process of producing a discernment video which ties the theology of this book (which is gaining rave acceptance by the world and many Christians) to NAR theology and practice. The book promotes several heretical teachings, which stands to shipwreck those who receive it, and which could very well subject them to the influences of false spirits. Type “The Shack exposed” into Youtube and you’ll likely find some good information. I hope to produce a video shortly.

Dan Irving well Michel Gutman still loves the Shack though its a smack in the face of true Christianity #goFigure #postmodernChurchCulture
Timothy K. Wiebe
People who condemn it have no idea what their talking about, unless you actually believe that God is a wife beating, child beating, abusive Father who needs Jesus to protect us from His hatred of us. All Young is saying is that God is not an alcoholic, abusive Father. Such a simple message of the power of the blood of Christ
Timothy K. Wiebe
The film is about a guy who’s father tied him to a tree and beat him and made him believe that’s what God was like. Then his own child is abducted and murdered and he wonders why God wasn’t there. God shows up and tells him that he never left his little girl.

Yes Timothy K. Wiebe most here have seen / read the Shack. That’s why we claim it is another Hollywood fake-news christianity not the BIBLE

Excellent point Dan Irving The true message of “grace,” the “cross,” “forgiveness,” and “repentance,” do not come to us in a vacuum. They also do not come in the language or imagery or dreams of the Shack, or Lord of the Rings or any others. The Word is very specific, spoken with intent and a reason. Needs no elaborate Hollywood interpretation to be understood or related to the present culture, most of which is but a deviation from true spirituality As simple as it gets
