| PentecostalTheology.comIn Genesis 3:15 it is recorded that God states
And I will put hostility between you and the woman
and between your offspring and her offspring;
her offspring will attack your head,
and you will attack her offspring’s heel.
Should this passage be considered to be prophetic?

Of course it is a prophecy,it points to the time of our Lord’s death which is the striking of his heel but in the process the serpent the devil’s head was crushed.1st John 3.8.Our Lord’s death burial and resurrection sealed Satan’s doom and paid our sin Dept.

What did he have to know in advance that he didnt just make happen?
Varnel Watson
That Adam would sin. And God’s Son had to be already Son at the time of sinning and the giving of the promise to be fulfilled 3,000 yrs later and everything and anything else related to the sacrifice of the Son on the cross

Based on what scripture?
Tim Anderson
One would have to define “prophetic”, according to God’s definition. Is it simply, speaking or writing beforehand that which God has revealed? If that is it, I think it is.
