Troy Day | PentecostalTheology.comWould unrepentant people who go to MARS and eventually die and are buried there also go to hell?
Brian Roden
From my understanding of the Martian landscape and climate, they are already there.
Varnel Watson
So if saved and die on Mars would they be raptured alongside with us?
Gary Brown
Really!!! Who can escape the hand of God.
Varnel Watson
Hardly the issue here. It is purely a question of location and logistics
Gary Brown
Lol I really don’t believe location will matter. The person would still be a part of this human race and what God had said in His word would remain no matter what planet they are on.
Varnel Watson
Yes Gary but how do you imagine it playing all out? Is this a good question for the Degree Program in Eschatology? Jack Nelson DMin
Lennie Marx
Consider this Acts 17:26
Varnel Watson
Acts 17:26 whole earth – nothing about Mars?
Ken Manley
If you look up all the references to hell in the Bible you will see that hell is repeatedly referred to being “down” or under.
Hell is in the heart of the earth. Even science tells us that the farther down you go towards the core of the earth the hotter it is.
If a person would die on Mars their body would stay on that planet, but their soul would be transported to the heart of the earth where hell is if they are unsaved.
If they are saved their body will remain on that planet but their soul will go to heaven (to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord).
At the rapture, wherever the body is it will be resurrected and be in eternity with God forever, it doesn’t matter where the body was before or how it died.

David Lewayne Porter
I believe your Bible talks about “all of creation, PS 148 mentions the sun moon and light giving stars,,
It is more than just an “earth” situation.
Varnel Watson
Ken Manley and heaven is always up and some even say a planet identical to Earth like Mars. It is also cold, north, white and no sun in Heaven vs hades being hot and dark… đ As per your down reference the center of Mars would also be down right? And pls a Bible verse for “soul would be transported to the heart of the earth” from Mars Ricky Grimsley Tony Conger
Ricky Grimsley
We are arent going to mars anytime soon
Varnel Watson
Not according to SpaceX 2033 project. 15 yrs give or take. Maybe thats why âApproaching the End of the Age from now until 2032â

No one can die on Mars….it’s been proven
Dolores Robinson Volk
You think too much!
Henry Volk
According to the video game Doom, the gate to hell is on Mar’s moon Phobos.
Varnel Watson
Wrong show Henry Volk đ Tony Conger itâs so devastating to learn captain Ben doesnât live past his first day on Mars. At first, it appears that Ben decides to take a morning stroll around the Red Planet while his team gets some much needed rest. As the morning sun rising in the background, he climbs up on a nearby mountain to soak in the scene. Itâs an absolutely breathtaking view of beauty and hope. However, moments later, we realize that Ben had already flat-lined. Viewers were tricked into thinking his dying dream vision was real life, and itâs a sucker punch of a reveal. S wow again where would captain Ben be on Judgment Day? http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/mars/videos/mars-episode-2-recap/
Robert Borders
And I thought that I was a nerd but you guys have me beat!
Varnel Watson
I just wanted to poll Tony Conger if captain Ben went to an earthly hades or … but then he did give his life for his friends so rapture may be?
Tony Conger
lol. its all hypothetical since mars is a fictional place invented by the moon people in an effort to keep us away from their cheese.
Lennie Marx
Troy the point scripture makes is G-d expects man to dwell on the earth which the earth was created for!
Ricky Grimsley
Its in mans heart to populate the universe. In the original creation man was created to live forever and be fruitful and multiply and thus we would have populated the universe. IMO
Varnel Watson
Cant argue that Lennie but captain Ben died on Mars. That’s why always asking Ricky Grimsley from the foundation of the world or from the fall of the worlds. And the main question – was Christ slain for people on earth only? Obviously He was not slain for the fallen angels. Q2 – is Christ’s sacrifice for this world only or for all the worlds, universe(s) and whole creation? Q3 Are future sins forgiven? So much to think about it in just a little Mars question http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/are-future-sins-forgiven/

Does anyone remember the words to the old Larry Norman song entitled UFO?
Brian Roden
Have you seen surface images from the Mars rover? Any human being going there could be considered to already be in hell. đ

for one way ticket to the moon? or for a some parallel Jesus
Joseph Kidwell
Still waiting for you to make a coherent Biblical case for so called ‘eternal sonship’.
George-Phyllis Cooper
Whether you go to heaven or hell is not based on your body’s location, but it’s based on whether or not you know Jesus as your savior.
Keith Day
that is it exactly
Varnel Watson
George-Phyllis Cooper That may be true if there was not bodily resurrection. But how do you explain your position per OP when including actual Biblical resurrection of the dead body?
George-Phyllis Cooper
Behold, I am the lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27)

from the recent NASA announcement for sending ppl to MARS Everyone e heard it except if living on Mars

It’s your spirit that Will go to heaven or he’ll not your physical body so it’s more important to be born again than where you are when you die

first we have to get to Mars. So fare no man has set foot on Mars. and every person who has died in space was not outside the orbit of Earth. and their body was returned to Earth. I think hell is more of a spiritual dimension. even if a unrepentent sinner died on another planet it is posible that their spirit could go to hell
Varnel Watson
how do we know that for sure?
RichardAnna Boyce
people dont go to hell because of non repentance of sin; but because of unbelief
Philip Williams
RichardAnna Boyce people sin because they do not believe.
RichardAnna Boyce
amen, but it is their unbelief that condemns them; recognising that not believing in Jesus is one of a million sins.
Philip Williams
RichardAnna Boyce
Believing in Jesus means obeying his commandments. Only the hypocrites destined for Hell would suppose otherwise.
Philip Williams
RichardAnna Boyce
Do you believe Jesus!
ââEnter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.â
ââMatthew⏠â7:14
RichardAnna Boyce
it is simple. Unbelievers go to hell. Believers go to heaven. Matthew 7:13-14
There is a difference between receiving life, and living the abundant life. Here in Matt 7:13-14 one enters into life by the gate and he lives that life by walking along the way. It is a narrow gate, and a difficult way that is only through Jesus Christ (cf. John 14:6). Unfortunately âfew…find it.â
Though His offer is to the entire human race, only a relatively few trust Him and believe in Him for eternal life instead of depending on their own obedience. The many, however, who reject Jesusâ offer of eternal life choose the way of human pride and self-righteousness which leads to destruction.
Philip Williams
âSomeone asked him, âLord, are only a few people going to be saved?â He said to them, âMake every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, âSir, open the door for us.â âBut he will answer, âI donât know you or where you come from.ââ
ââLuke⏠â13:23-25⏠â
Varnel Watson
Philip Williams when you say narrow do you mean a fiber optic star gaze gate to Mars you designed prior to your retirement?
Philip Williams
I sense that Pentecostal preachers no longer fear God. Perhaps God has hardened their hearts so as to sin them to Hell.
Varnel Watson
What you and I âlikeâ is utterly and absolutely irrelevant. God doesnât set his eternal agenda based on what we âpreferâ. What we might âhopeâ to be true simply doesnât matter. What does or does not make us âfeel comfortableâ has no bearing on the truth or falsity of this issue. The fact that we have an intuitive sense for what strikes us as âfairâ or âjustâ plays no part whatsoever in coming to a conclusion on whether or not there is an eternal hell. The fact that we may not enjoy the thought of eternal conscious punishment doesnât make it go away! The fact that you âfeelâ the existence of hell is inconsistent with your concept of God doesnât mean there isnât one. What we âwantâ or âhopeâ or âdesireâ has no relevance at all in this debate. The only important question is, âDoes the Bible teach it?â And if the Bible does teach it (and Revelation 14 together with numerous other texts would indicate it does), our responsibility is to believe it and fervently and faithfully proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as the only hope sinners have for now and eternity.
Philip Williams
RichardAnna Boyce thinks that he is more righteous than God. If that isnât reason for Godâs great wrath, I hardly know what would be.
Philip Williams
If I remember, that was the Devilâs original suggestion to man that he could know good and evil as well as God.
