Our answer and help will come only from God. That will only happen when America and The Church gets on her knees and cries out to God in prayer.

Jim Price John Ruffle Appreciate your impute but things are not quire so simple. Christian institutions have always been political and politically involved and have a notorious record of advocating politics foreign to the nature of God. In this sense, Christian politics have never been a mere discourse about the city (the polis) of God i.e. the NAR / Liberation Theology political take over moves Henry Volk

When Trump says the “system is rigged ” we should understand that James Comey has an impeccable record down through the years as being impartial and even though he is of the same party as Trump, he nevertheless took a position not welcomed by his own party. So I don’t think that we should in any way impugn (” oppose or attack as false or lacking integrity. ” ) what his team came up with and what he endorsed.

Despite what Donald Trump says, we really can learn a lot from his tax returns — even from the partial ones made public by The New York Times. http://www.charismanews.com/politics/opinion/59206-if-you-re-on-the-fence-about-your-vote-this-pastor-clarifies-how-the-very-future-of-america-is-at-stake

Simple do the best we can and leave the rest up to God. Dr. Cutshall just recently told me that and my Dad always said that.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Good news: In two years, we’ll have a new president. Bad news: If we make it that long.

Enough Americans, including most independent voters, will be so ready to shed Donald Trump and his little shop of horrors that the 2018 midterm elections are all but certain to be a landslide — no, make that a mudslide — sweep of the House and Senate. If Republicans took both houses in a groundswell of the people’s rejection of Obamacare, Democrats will take them back in a tsunami of protest.

Once ensconced, it would take a Democratic majority approximately 30 seconds to begin impeachment proceedings selecting from an accumulating pile of lies, overreach and just plain sloppiness. That is, assuming Trump hasn’t already been shown the exit.

Should have not been put there to being with then. A very very bad judgment call on part of Trump. in Such cases , when CIA and FBI become needy like in Watergate, impeachment is inevitable… but more importantly per OP WHAT’S THE POLITICAL ROLE and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY of the CHURCH in AMERICA TODAY?

How would Jesus answer this question? When we pray, ” thy will be done on earth as in heaven ” which mode of government service would best fulfill that prayer? Since all men and all political parties have sinned and come short of the glory of God; how do we then choose?

I believe that Christians are called to stand for life, in and out of the womb, stand with Israel, stand with the poor and all who are marginalized.

old story – same issues 3 years later remain unresolved for the church But instead of talking and praying about them let’s just have a chilly dinner instead, right? Alan Smith William DeArteaga Terry Wiles I do see Res16 as the main reason for most good and most bad in our denomination for the past decade. It represent a culture withing – not just a decision. It is now an identity

Political involvement is a whole different subject. The world will not change by getting “your” candidate in office.

It will change when the Government of Governments rules in your heart and His will is done in your life while you live here on earth.
