The same God who gives the command is also the one who gives his chosen ones the gift of obeying it. Or do you disagree with the scriptures that says: “He has mercy on whomever He wills, and harden the heart of whomever He wills”? (Romans 9:18) “No one can receive anything, except what is given him from heaven” (Jn 3:27)
