It was replaced by the simple laying on of hands to receive teh Baptism of the holy Spirit.

Because, it really wasn’t a biblical mandate to tarry, I don’t see anywhere Jesus, said to tarry or I.e…..beg for something that he freely gives!!!

If we truly believed that tarrying was a mandate we could also then say that we should all be going to Jerusalem to receive that power. Luke 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. (KJV). :/
