Neil Steven Lawrence which errors? Oscar Valdez Duane L Burgess well lets start with DTS and the ones by Nelson Banuchi Brett Dobbs Ricky Grimsley Robert Dickinson
Oscar Valdez yeah I figured once you go down the DTS path you will eventually end up with heretics like Gentry Philip Williams knew NEXT you will be a Christian reconstructionist and more…
Too much Chilton and Gentry perhaps? From the table Irenaeus, Tertullian, Dio Cassius and Victorinus all disagree with the early dating. The Temple is not mentioned in Revelation except coming from Heaven. Nero is not one to whome Revelation 17:10 refers for surely his contemporary John would have called him by name. One of the key internal evidences, which does not require positing a particular interpretative approach, is the condition of the seven church in Revelation. Do these churches look more like first-generation churches, which would appear to support an early date, or do they favor a second-generation church, which would support the late date? There are some key evidences that strongly favor a second-generation depiction of the churches. Since a preterist interpretation of Revelation requires an early date of the final book in the Bible, preterists go to great lengths in their attempts to make their view appear viable. The Domitianic date is the overwhelmingly accepted view of scholarship in our day and throughout most of church history. Nothing in Revelation itself contradicts such a conclusion. It appears the major reason that preterists believe in an early date for Revelation is that their system requires it. In this instance the saying is true that necessity is the mother of invention.
Oscar Valdez you dont even know how to spell bapatisT
BUT YES we know you are I’m baptist DTS
YET This is NOT an airport
no need to announce your departure from Pentecostalism
Troy Day Just because I miss a letter, you make a big noise, but even if you don’t like most Pentecostals, they have something of Baptists in their eschatology of the last days, especially if we talk about the Rapture before the tribulation.
Troy Day I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and speak in other tongues, and I have a large collection of books on Pentecostal theology! Isn’t that enough for you?
Kyle Williams Oscar Valdez Gary North thinks that essential to any idea of Christians “reigning” in history is
“Christians’ possession of the judicial authority to impose negative civil sanctions or the private
economic power to impose both positive and negative cultural sanctions [in particular, those
given in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28]” Such conflating of the political and the religious is not just a bad idea but a dangerous one. Postmillennialism minimizes one of the primary experiences that will characterize the church
and all Christians throughout this present age: suffering with Christ. Postmillennialism undermines the NT emphasis on the church’s imminent expectation of
Christ’s return. It undermines the element of watchfulness that is essential to the NT church.
See 1 Cor. 16:22; Rom. 13:11-12; Phil. 4:5; Js. 5:8; 1 Pt. 4:7; 1 Jn. 2:18; Rev. 1:3; 22:20.
Oscar Valdez The origins of Dominion theology, however, do not lie within the Pentecostal-Charismatic arena but outside it in classically Reformed theology. (This is illustrated in the ICCC Handbook, which lists the Presbyterian Westminster Confession in its creedal statements that provide the proper interpretation of the Bible.) Dominion theology is the product of the Christian reconstructionist movement, which developed in the 1960s and ’70s around the publications of scholar Rousas John Rushdoony. In order to understand their influence on the Dominion movement some reconstructionist views will be now outlined briefly. Rushdoony, an Armenian American, established the Chalcedon Foundation in Vallecito, California, in 1965. Another center is the Institute for Christian Economics in Tyler, Texas, founded by Gary North, who has also published widely. Central to the reconstructionist vision is the acknowledgement of the all-embracing cosmic headship of Christ, who has dominion over every dimension of reality, and the ensuing ideal of transforming society in accordance with God’s divine laws. Rushdoony had studied presuppositional apologetics with Cornelius van Til, who taught for many years at Westminster Theological Seminary. It is widely believed that in his book Theonomy in Christian Ethics, Christian reconstructionist theologian Greg Bahnsen argues that the laws of Moses should be applied directly to contemporary public life. The vision is, first, to reclaim the United States as a Christian nation and then to work in a gradual postmillennial strategy to establish the kingdom rule of God over all the earth. This would, in fact, be theocratic rule, with obvious parallels to Puritan thinking. The moral decline in the Western world is seen as the direct result of forsaking the eternal laws of God. IMO Gary North is a theological shmack Kyle Williams
Kyle Williams AUGUSTINE was paid good moneyS ALL his life to produce a catholic theology which justifies the EMPIRE
the ONLY way a-mil exist is by denying REV 20 is literal
this is a very lame theological response to the BIBLE
IT is pretty clear JOHN saw REV 20 as literal and physical
SO saw it the early church and church fathers
it was LAME for Augustine to state that Rev 20 from the BIBLE was not literal and deny the mil BUT claim Byzantine was the Millennial Kingdom to take over the world for GOD – over 2 mils later it is clear Augustine was wrong
1st mil passed and nothing
2nd mil passed and nothing
to say that the 3rd mil we are ion now is the mil from Rev 20 which was also claimed for the 2nd mill in the 1900s is plain lame – NO mil literal or not = 2 mils
Philip Williams Duane L Burgess In the period of unprecedented persecution that Jesus called great tribulation, we find the wrath of Satan (Rev 12:12), through the Beast (Rev 13:7), upon the elect (Matt 24:9, 22, 24, 31; Romans 8:33; 11:7) and ethnic Israel (Deut 4:30; 32:36; Jer 30:7; Dan 12:1, 7; Rev 12:9-17) in the form of economic isolation (Rev 13:17), violent persecution (Matt 24:9, 22), supernatural deception (Matt 24:24; 2Thes 2:9) and beheading (Rev 20:4).
I hope that starts by rejecting the nonsense based on inserting a Church Age between the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel, thereby delaying the Great Tribulation of AD 70.

No allegorizing, no spiritualizing, no replacement theology.
Sound exegesis produces only one eschatology: Premillennial.
