| PentecostalTheology.comCommon Christian doctrine is that salvation is granted by God’s grace through faith/believe in Jesus.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God
Ephesians 2:8
But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
1 Timothy 1:16
But what exactly does that mean? What does it mean to "believe in him"? Is it a certain state of mind or does it require certain actions?
