Seems like i always end up preaching the same thing. In one way or another. Uptown downtown, or Chinatown. The dope spot the bank or the mission. Old Testament, New Testament, the parables, psalms or the words of Christ. Seems like i always return to Gods willingness to hear the prayer of the poor sinner.
God always hears the cry of the humble. ALWAYS. He resists the proud but he gives grace and help to the humble. If you will humble yourself and pray, the living God will hear from heaven and deliver you. He will help you. He will step into your situation and save you.
Somehow we got to get them praying and calling on Jesus. Somehow they got to know the promise of God. Somehow weve got to introduce them to the Saviour. The mercy, forgiveness and power in Jesus name. Sometimes they dont get it. Sometimes they act like dont get it. Sometimes they actually get it. Sometimes theyre changed forever…
