The epistles of Paul and John respond to false teaching , false gospel , false prophets , false brethren and false Christ . darkness riegns in rebellion to the known will of God and mens vain imagination . The question remains what feeds deception if it isnt a lying spirit a spirit of error that old serpent , pride and ignorance of Gods word . when we consider the bad doctrine in Gods house , the lack of real repentance , heart felt and sincere love and devotion to Christ , can clearly be placed under the heading there is no fear of God in their eyes
