Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
– Psalm 23:4

as I was praying for the souls out here on the street it occurred to me many of them have lost friends and loved ones to drugs . 717 overdose deaths in San Francisco last year . 387 in the little neighborhood we call the tenderloin . many of them are grieving and lost and dont know the comfort of Christ . the care of the good shepherd . the scoffers grew silent as they learned my business . the party on the corner turned down their music . a guy I been working with three years walked up the block to hear the preaching . I cant say it was a success but I believe our lord was presented in mercy and in faith . that they heard the promise of God to hear the prayer of the poor sinner . somehow I think Im learning what it means to be an ambassador for Christ . the Saviour .
10th day peace .
