OK Oscar Valdez not certain why in response to you Susan Daniels stated ohn Wesley writes on A.D. 70… (1703-1791) …
(On Matthew 22:7 ) Wesley wrote … “The king sending forth his troops — The Roman armies employed of God for that purpose. Destroyed those murderers — Primarily the Jews.”
(On Matthew 24:2 ) Wesley wrote … “This was most punctually fulfilled: for after the temple was burned, Titus, the Roman general, ordered the very foundations of it to be dug up; after which the ground on which it stood was ploughed by Turnus Rufus.”
(On Matthew 24:5 ) Wesley wrote … “And, indeed, never did so many impostors appear in the world as a few years before the destruction of Jerusalem, undoubtedly because that was the time wherein the Jews in general expected the Messiah.”
(On Matthew 24:14 ) Wesley wrote … “This Gospel shall he preached in all the world —Not universally: this is not done yet: but in general through the several parts of the world, and not only in Judea. And this was done by St. Paul and the other apostles, before Jerusalem was destroyed. And then shall the end come of the city and temple. [Matthew 24:14 states that the Gospel “shall be” preached in all the world (known, inhabited world), future tense when Jesus said it, and THEN the “end” would come (end of the Old Mosaic Law system). Then years later just before the “end”, Apostle Paul said that the Gospel “was” (past tense in the Greek) now proclaimed to every creature under heaven–Col. 1:23. Then, the “end” finally came in AD 70. – CD]
which bid Jose Salinas to ask about preterism and so on
AND Ken Van Horn
Where do we get the idea that the ministry of Jesus only lasted 3.5 years?
1. We can determine the date of His execution based on details in the narrative.
2. He was “about 30” when baptized by John.
3. There are only 3 Passovers recorded in the Gospel of John.
The problem is that all of this is built on presuppositions that could easily be wrong.
Herod died in 4 BC. Jesus was no longer an infant when Herod died but a “young child,” and this and other things place His likely birth in 6 BC.
If His execution remains in 33 AD, Jesus was almost 40 at His death.

My thoughts.. the motivation for the [attempted ] high jacking of Evangelical Christianity via Dispensationalism ; The Kingdom of God was established when Jesus was crucified and resurrected – the perfect sacrifice, ascended into Heaven, seated at the Right hand of the Father all power given to Him in heaven and on earth. The book of Revelation is the story surrounding that cataclysm and the Pharisees have come out with a tale that says ” look over here its all future and inevitable” to distract Christianity into a holding pattern.
which is incoherent to the discussion even for Philip Williams who is popish catholic and John Mushenhouse
