A VISION – FROM MY JOURNAL – Ray E Horton

Just before fully awakening, I was dreaming of giving this prophetic word. It had to do with revival. What is happening now is just early rain to wash away worldly thinking and desires, doubt, timidity, etc. and bring forth faith, intimacy, boldness – winds of change. As the rainwater deepens from streams of the Spirit of God to rivers, in some places they will begin flooding their banks.

Winds of Change

Early rain to wash away worldly thinking and desires, doubt, and timidity, and bring forth faith, intimacy, and boldness

I saw what was like a marina of row boats and larger boats in various conditions waiting to be repaired and put into the water for the season. With the floods coming, people were being warned to repair the boats. Many had begun. Believers filled with the Spirit and fire could swim in the rivers and floods, but unbelievers would drown and needed to be rescued.

For believers, repairs would have to be made to weak spots, scratches and leaks on their boat hulls of doubts, hurts, fears, hesitation, not fully comprehending who they were in Christ.

In some, mostly in the big boats of churches and ministries and their pilots, there were major gashes of division and disunity that absolutely had to be repaired to be seaworthy, or they’d sink when the floods came, and would even have difficulty in the rivers.

Work together or sink

Some pilots weren’t even aware yet of the need. For some they’d even have to team up with their neighboring churches to get the boats fixed – there wasn’t time for them to get people and churches of the same stream to travel there, and they were either fixing their own boats or didn’t see the need.
