NOT GETTING THEIR OWN WAY IS WHY THEY ARE RAGING – Ray E Horton

[I pray that if our President wins re-election, their rage will be contained].

Look around us, in the USA and elsewhere. I am reminded of Psalm 2. Why are the heathen raging? They are raging because they are not getting their own way. Let us not be like them. The Lord will ultimately have His way.

The heathen rage against Jesus, seeing Him as a taker (the right to do their own thing) rather than a giver (something so much better)

The Psalm is actually about Jesus. The heathen rage against Jesus because they see Him as a taker (the right to do their own thing) rather than a giver (something so much better).

But also, they will rage against politics they disagree with, which may stand for godly principles rather than freedom-choking policies. They are all for freedom, except for those who stand for principles that make them feel guilty.

Our Principles Make Them Feel Guilty

They are all for freedom, except for those who stand for principles that make them feel guilty

Psalm 2:

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 Yet have I set my king [Jesus] upon my holy hill of Zion.

7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession….
