YOUR FUTURE IN ME IS GLORIOUS, SO DO NOT MOURN THE PAST – Ray E Horton
The Lord doesn’t want you to meditate on past failures and weaknesses. We learn and go on. This is for someone right now:
“Do not mourn the past, for your future in Me is glorious. Lift up your head,” says the Lord
“You are My creation, and I have made you, and I see the finished product, and it is beautiful. Do not mourn the past, for your future in Me is glorious. Lift up your head,” says the Lord.
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified” (Isa. 61:3).
He Has Beauty for Your Life
He has beauty for your life, so leave behind the ashes. Put on that “garment of praise,” and that “spirit of heaviness” will have to leave. Oil represents the Holy Spirit and the anointing. That’s where you will find the supernatural joy that He has for you, for “in Your presence is fullness of joy” (Psalm 16:11).
No matter what you have been thinking about yourself, He calls you a “tree of righteousness,” His righteousness, gifted to you. Agree with Him and experience the transformation. He has planted you, like a strong tree (His strength) in His Kingdom, forever, not because of any worthiness in yourself, but for His glory.
The Lord would have you meditate on these things often and receive them in your heart. His Word is true; He does not lie about you. Sing Hallelujah to the Lord, your Abba, Daddy, Father God.
