THE VISION SHALL COME TO PASS – Ray E Horton

Though you go through the fire, the trials, brokenness, self-discovery that you weren’t looking for, seeing the side you were hiding from, hope isn’t lost.

We are in season when God’s people are winning over darkness. Truth is winning over hidden lies. It is a good thing, and the Lord is calling us to cooperate with His Spirit, especially when He shows you it isn’t just about them, it’s about you.

Maybe what we are going through is necessary preparation to change us and make us into the vessels He can use in a deeper, richer way, restoring lost credibility

As we stay strong in Him, close to the lover of our souls, he leads us through. He will lead and guide so that in the end, if we do as He shows us, we will be purified and those around us healed. Yes, in our weaknesses of the flesh, we have hurt others, but their healing is a part of yours.

What about the vision, the one God Himself put on our hearts many years ago? Is it now lost? The Lord says, “Is it still on your heart? Then I will bring it to pass.” Maybe what we are going through is necessary preparation to change us and make us into the vessels He can use in a deeper, richer way, restoring lost credibility.

It may seem impossible now, but nothing is impossible for God. He is faithful, even when we are not. Many of us have known this scripture for years, but it takes on new meaning:

The Vision Is Yet for an Appointed Time

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay” (Hab. 2:3).

So, let us trust the Lord, spend time listening for His voice, obeying His guidance. Even if it is hard, calling for change, making amends, letting go, and facing reality. The Father loves us! Jesus is interceding for us! He is with us and will bring us through and get us back on track for the fulfillment of the vision to use us for His glory.
