TJ Tipton | PentecostalTheology.comJohn Wesley: “Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on earth. God does nothing but in answer to prayer.”
Spurgeon is speaking motivating people to outward evangelistic action. This is fine if and only if it is reflective of a truely sanctified life manifesting the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We ned to earn the right to witness. This usually is via listening, eempathizing treating an individual as we would wish to be treated. Prostitute; addict, bank manager, lifer, you name it.
Also – witness is what/who we ARE not what we DO

God bless you! I am taking care of a very small congregation in India. Praying for God’s constant guidance. I shall be much grateful if you help us to grow more in faith.

Please excuse me but was there a specific quote by Spurgeon. I don’t think you have go out of your way to correct him on points. Either on Soulwinning or a sanctified life. But I may have missed something, maybe you can help me. What exactly are referencing with Charles Spurgeon on Soulwinning.
