Everything You Know About St. Patrick’s Day Is Wrong  John Kissinger |

For all the snake handlers out-here: St. Patrick didn’t drive all the snakes from Ireland  No evidence that snakes have EVER existed in Ireland. The climate is much too chilly for them.

Julius Streeter God made the weather, there are venemous adders in nearby england

This is as silly as banning Halloween because it’s evil. Nothing wrong with either because neither represent the alleged evil. If we want to erase these then erase Christmas as it started out as a pagan holiday as well

I think we have bigger fish to fry.

I think the meaning has drifted from rendering honor to St. Patrick and now it has been perverted to unilateral stereotype of what people think what Irish people do. Its so sad… so in a sense, it is wrong if you partake in the stereotype. Its offensive and mocks a culture. Its like dressing up in Native costumes and dancing around a fire. its kinda ignorant.

I’m Irish and I could care less if people want to paint themselves green, run around in short pants looking for a pot of gold. I don’t care that they call a police wagon a paddy wagon or two babies born less than a year apart Irish twins. I also could care less if people want to dress up like Indians. We use to dress up every thanksgiving. It’s too bad people take offense at everything, like the Washington redskins. When I was a kid this was a free country that didn’t look for the bad but for the good and knew how to laugh at ourselves. Today everybody is a victim looking for a safe place

People still celebrate that?

St. Patrick’s day. Last night I was using my new verse, thanks P.T!

“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.”
    – Proverbs 20:1
“Alcohol is a curse. Jesus breaks the curse of alcohol!”
    Guy tries to heckle me,
“I don’t drink alcohol I only smoke weed!”
“Stupid is a curse, Jesus breaks the curse of stupid!”
I wouldn’t exactly call it an apologia but…
